Food & lifestyle
alcohol
ModerateSynergy
Additive hypotensive effects may occur when phosphodiesterase-5 (PDE5) inhibitors such as tadalafil are used with alcohol, as both are mild systemic vasodilators.
What to do: Patients taking tadalafil should avoid consuming large amounts of alcohol, which may increase the potential for orthostatic signs and symptoms including increase in heart rate, decrease in standing blood pressure, dizziness, and headache. It may also be appropriate to avoid consuming large amounts of grapefruit juice.

Conditions in which Finasteride + Tadalafil needs care, as documented in this source.
Liver Diseases
ModerateFinasteride and dutasteride are extensively metabolized by the liver. Therapy with these drugs should be administered cautiously in patients with liver disease as exposure could be higher.

Urethral Obstruction
ModeratePatients with large residual urinary volume and/or severely diminished urinary flow should be carefully monitored for obstructive uropathy. These patients may not be candidates for finasteride therapy.
