The manufacturing facility of MedRx Life Science Limited is located about 100 Km from the center of Dhaka City. The total built up production area is about 36,000 square feet which is consists of solid, liquid, semi-solid and parenteral products manufacturing facility.

The site also houses R&D lab, QA, IPC and Microbiology lab. It also has temperature controlled warehouse for raw materials, packaging materials and finished goods. Separate canteen for workers and officers are hygienically maintained and healthy food is being served as advised by the nutritionists.

Manufacturing and packaging operations are carried out according to the validated methods through systematic qualified machines with full documentation at all stages of operations.

The production sites follow the cGMP guidelines and environmental requirements of the manufacturing and packaging area, as well as comply with the EHS requirements.

Highly sophisticated HVAC systems are used to condition, monitor and supply clean air to the working zone according to the manufacturing zone concept, capture and control any dust, vapor, gas or fume generated, as well as treat re-circulated and/or exhausted air. Temperature and moisture level are maintained at the desired level through this system. There are different environmental zones maintained within the manufacturing area.

Design of the room and air-conditioning systems ensure:

  • Prevention of contamination of the product.
  • Protection of the environment.
  • Protection of people.
  • Prevention of the ingress of vermin, insects, birds etc.

Training programs take place on a regular basis according to written plan. Personnel at all levels undergo general cGMP and technical training appropriate to perform their job effectively.

Purified water and water for injection plant and distribution systems are designed to maintain the water quality according to the relevant requirements and state-of-the-art engineering design which include e.g. 24 hours run circulation loops, smooth interior surfaces, adequate materials, and minimum flow rates.

Warehouse

Our warehouse is fully temperature controlled. It has separate block for raw materials, excipients and finished products. For highly temperature sensitive products, we have cold room where below zero temperature is maintained 24/7. All the entries are recorded and tested by the QC personnel. Upon QC clearance those are placed in warehouse. In and out of products from warehouse is fully automated.

Dispensing

We have separate and dedicated dispensing area to ensure the prevention of cross contamination of API and excipients.

Dispensing operation is being done by the dispensing pharmacists, checked by production pharmacists and rechecked by the QC personnel ensuring the accuracy and environment.

Water Treatment Plant

The pH, mineral content, microbial count, pyrogen limit etc. are strictly regulated in our production process through our EUROVENT certified water treatment plant. Fine filtration, 5 channel UV treatment and ion exchange are done to ensure purity of the water. Our QC department regularly taste and validate the water to ensure the best quality products.

HVAC System

We have installed EUROVENT certified Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) system of European Origin to ensure purified air, temperature and moisture inside the manufacturing area. The HVAC system is fully automated and controlled centrally. Any problem in the process will automatically shut down the system for maintenance.
